A building control application is soon to be sumbitted for a single storey rear extension with french doors and a pitched roof with Velux windows. Steelwork will be used to open up the rear wall into the new extension. Planning permission is not needed due to the size of the extension.
We are now up to roof level with this extension. The steel ridge beam can be clearly seen to support the open roof slope, which will receive two Velux windows on either side.
The existing rear wall has now been removed to make the existing lounge and new extension one big room. The frames are fitted and external rendering is in progress.
