The extension will be built on brick pillars to still allow access to the rear garage. Work has started this week
Planning permission and building control approval has now been obtained to demolish the existing first floor extension in order to build the new first floor extension which will be much wider forming a drive through car port.
A full scaffold enclosure has been used to protect the property and allow work to continue in all weathers.
Upon further investigation it can now be seen that the existing extension was blockwork internally with a timber outer skin and cladding
The old timber extension is now complete with a new 2 storey side extension. A car port has been formed and modifications to the ground floor have been made.
There is now a very large new bedroom and en suite.
