Having obtained planning permission and building control approval, work will start in a couple of weeks to remove the existing porch and construct a new 2 storey front extension. This will form a larger ground floor porch incorporating a WC and create a much needed bigger family bathroom.
The extension is coming on nicely. The small dormer, which was the subject of considerable planning scrutiny, is now formed.
The windows and doors will soon be fitted to allow the scaffold to come down.
