Work has just started on this large two storey side extension, a new porch will also be built and the old stone cladding removed and the extension and house re-rendered to blend together. The concrete for the foundations has been poured today.
Update – 26/03/10
Thanks to the relatively mild weather, we are now up to first floor level. The steel and timbers have been ordered to form the first floor. Steel is needed due to the wide span of the first floor towards the rear, which is a total width of 4.7 meters.

The blockwork is now complete. The roof is currently being constructed

This large extension has been completed very quickly. The finishing touches are being made to the external and internal.
