Build Costs
As part of the service we offer we can provide an estimate for build costs when your plans are completed.
Most builders charge around £2,000* per square meter for a basic single storey extension. This will be finished, plastered with electrics, radiators and standard windows and doors. Extras such as Velux roof windows, under floor heating and bi-fold doors will add to this price.
If you can provide us with a rough budget during our initial meetings this is also helpful for us to produce suitable plans for your extension or conversion project.

List of Builders
When your plans are finished and - if needed - your plans have been submitted for planning permission - we would advise contacting a few of the builders on the list below.
We have examples of work they have completed for previous customers in our portfolio and most have examples on their respective social media profiles.
They will come out to see you so you can meet them, discuss the work and they can answer any questions you may have. Tell them if you want to do any of the work yourself, or you want extra work like UPVC soffits and fascias or gutter replacement, so they can itemise the quote and you know what has been included when comparing quotes.
Always ask for references and to see some of their work. Also ask about availability and time scales to see if it fits with when you want the work done and ensure that you are happy with any deposit required and payment terms.
If you or your builder have any questions before or during construction, please contact us. We will be happy to make minor amendments.
You may want to choose a builder you have used before or recommended to you by someone you know. If you choose to do this we will still provide the same support during the build. Even if a builder is recommended by a friend, you should still follow the steps above and ask to see examples of previous projects.
