The Bassett - Change Of Use from Pub to Shop

This is an ongoing project to convert The Bassett public house (currently A4) in to a retail unit (A1) with the option for the developer to include flats and a takeaway in the project.

We have worked with our client and their shopfitter to design a retail unit that maximises the space available, as well as providing them with a design that also includes residential properties on the first floor and a takeaway in a separate unit if they wish to do so.

It is usually best to include as much as you can in plans in order to gain planning permission for the biggest project. In this case, we were able to work with Sheffield’s planning department to create a design that satisfied both planning and our customer.
