Our customer at Derwent Place approached us to design a single storey rear extension to replace their existing conservatory and a two storey extension to allow for a larger kitchen and an extra bedroom. They also wanted a single storey extension to form a porch.

We designed the extensions to be light with bi-fold doors and Velux to let as much light in as possible. As this design needed a planning application, we applied to change the exterior finish of the house to render.

This project also required some internal alterations that we provided the structural calculations for. These internal alterations included the partial removal of the side of the house and the wall between the existing hall and lounge.
