Our customer at Ross Court wanted space for a home gym without losing the garage to park their cars. They also wanted another bedroom with an en suite.

We decided to convert the existing garage as well as adding another storey to it. The builder re used the dormers on the new garage to keep the design as close to the original as possible.

To replace the lost garage space and to ensure the new extension wouldn’t look out of place, we replicated the existing garage design, as you can see from the before photos below.

This customer later approached us to design a single storey rear extension for them. To ensure the space had as much natural light as possible, we allowed for large sliding doors across most of the rear elevation and chose a flat roof that would include a lantern light.
