Brief: This project on Sterndale Road, Sheffield is a perfect example of how a small extension and well thought out internal alterations can completely change your home.

We worked with our customer to provide plans for a single storey rear extension to bring the existing extension the full width of the house. They then opted for a portal frame to allow for one large kitchen and dining room to the rear of the property. This steel work has been made a feature as you can see in the after photos.

As part of the architectural services we provide, we worked with our engineer to include structural calculations for the portal frame and added this detail to the plans for the builder to work from.
