Brief: to design single storey rear and side extensions for a larger kitchen and separate utility and WC.

 

Our customer wanted a single storey rear extension to their property to allow for a larger kitchen and dining area. We worked with them to design the extension, adding Velux windows and large bi-fold doors to keep the new space light and open.

Due to the wraparound style of this extension it needed planning permission. We also provided structural calculations as part of our architectural services for the internal alterations required to open up the extension to the existing house.
