Brief: Change of use from fire station in to gym, cafe and creche with a two storey rear extension and structural calculations for a mezzanine.

We are approached by The Station Gym team to provide plans for their extension and internal alterations to the former fire station on Mansfield Road. We also managed the planning permission application for the extension, change of use and changes to the external finish of the building.

As part of our architectural services package, we provided structural calculations for the mezzanine floor running through the garage and in to the extension.

 

We also submitted a second planning application to approve Phase 2 of the project to include a recovery suite, raised decking for the cafe and a climbing wall along the existing training tower.
