Free Initial Design Meetings

 

We want to know as much as possible about the ideas you have for your extension, loft conversion or other home improvement project so we can advise you on the best options to suit your needs and to give you the best quote possible.

 

That’s why we offer a free initial design visit to go through your ideas with you and tell you what we think will work best and whether those options will need planning permission or not. You can ask us any questions about the architectural service we provide so you know exactly what to expect from us.

 

Quotes Within Seven Days of Your Initial Design Meeting

 

We know that time is important in construction so you can keep costs within budget and get your builder booked in to do the work. We will send you a quote within 7 days of your initial visit.

 

Our quotes include a breakdown of the architectural service we provide as well as figures for planning permission (if needed) and building control applications when you come to carry out the work.

 

Give You the Best Possible Design Advice

 

We have years of experience designing extensions, loft conversions and plans for other home improvement projects, meaning we can advise you on the best design for you and planning permission if needed.  

 

In 2022 we submitted more planning applications to Sheffield City Council than any other agent. 

 

Clear and Comprehensive Plans for You and Your Builder

 

Having clear plans is important for many aspects of your project. As part of our architectural services, we provide you with PDF plans as well as A1 paper copies to give to your builder.  

 

Not only is it important that you and your builder are on the same page, but having plans that are well laid out and easy to understand makes planning permission and building control applications run much more smoothly.
 

Quick Communication and Amendments 

 

Your project is our priority.

 

You will have a single point of contact with one of our team for your project to ensure clear communication and quick responses regarding your plans.

 

If your project requires planning any queries or amendments are dealt with as quickly as possible so decisions are on time. Any amendments required for planning permission will be sent for your approval first.

 

With You During Construction

 

Our work isn’t done when your plans are finished. We will submit your building control application for you (with a minimum of 4 weeks notice) and answer any questions as work progresses.

As part of our architectural services package we include calculations for simple internal alterations that we will submit to building control with your plans. We also provide structural calculations for portal frames (quoted for separately) that are accepted by approved inspectors and council building control departments.
